Graham McTavish (born 4 January 1961) is a Scottish actor and author. He is famous for his role as Dwalin in The Hobbit film trilogy, Vlad Dracula Tepes in the Netflix animated series Castlevania, Loki in various Marvel animated films, William Munny, the Saint of Killers in the AMC series Preacher and as Dougal MacKenzie and William Buccleigh MacKenzie in the Starz series Outlander. In addition, he is well-known for his character of Dwalin in Uncharted 2 and 3: In the Company of Thieves' principal antagonist Zoran Lazarevic. The actor was also the author of Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare and A Scottish Adventure Like No Other, which reached the top of the list at No. 1 in 2020. McTavish was a writer of comedy and actor at the school. His drama teacher asked him to play the role of Sheridan in The Rivals when the principal actor was ill. He then went on to Queen Mary University of London and graduated with a degree in English literature.
