Jennifer Shrader Lawrence (born August 15, 1990) is an American actress. The highest-paid actress in the world between 2015 and 2016, her films have made more than $6 billion to date. Lawrence was named one of the top 100 influential people worldwide in 2013 by Time. She also appeared in the Forbes Celebrity 100 List from 2013 to 2016. Lawrence also performed in church musicals and school plays during her childhood. She was 14 years old when she was picked up by a talent scout in New York City while on holiday with her family. Then she moved to Los Angeles and began her acting career through guest appearances on television. She was a lead participant in The Bill Engvall show (2007-2009), her first big role. She made her film debut by playing a minor role in the drama Garden Party (2008), and then made her acting debut playing an impoverished teenager in the independent thriller drama Winter's Bone (2010). Lawrence rose to stardom in the role of Mystique the mutant of the X-Men film series (2011-2019).
