John Burke Krasinski, /kr@’zInski/ was born October 20, 1979. He is an American actor. He is known for his role as Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom The Office. He also served as a producer and occasional director of the series throughout the series' nine seasons. He completed his theatre studies at Brown University, the National Theater Institute and was awarded a number of distinctions, which included four Primetime Emmy Award nominations as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Time listed him as one of the 100 most influential individuals worldwide in 2018.His film credits include License to Wed (2007), Leatherheads (2008), Away We Go (2009), It's Complicated (2009), Something Borrowed (2011), Big Miracle (2012), Promised Land (2012), Aloha (2015), The Hollars (2016), and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi (2016). Krasinski was the director and actor in the drama, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (2009) as well as the comedy-drama film The Hollars (2016).
