Matthew

Alex Trebek is continuing to be a kind and decent man, even after his tomb. The former "Jeopardy!" host's outfit is donated by the Trebek family, as well as "Jeopardy!" to The Doe Fund. This charity provides social services such as housing, ongoing education, vocational and paid work for Americans who have been in incarceration or addiction. Fourteen suits, 58 formal shirts, 300 ties and a variety of other clothes were donated on the advice of the son of Trebek's Matthew. The clothing will be given to men in need for job interviews through the Doe Fund's "Ready willing and able" program. The planned complex of 50,000 square feet is for senior citizens who are homeless in the San Fernando Valley. Trebek did not give it as an unintentional gift. He's been making financial donations to Hope of the Valley for years. In March 2020 He donated to the charity $100,000 to go into a facility in North Hollywood. When the facility is finished, it will become home to the "Alex and Jean Trebek Multi-Purpose Room." It will feature around 80 beds, bathrooms, as also a laundry room.
