Norm MacDonald

 Norman Gene Macdonald[i] was Canadian comedian, actor as well as a writer. He lived from the time of his death on October 17, 1959[ii] to September 14, 2021. His stand-up performance was slow, almost stuttering, with lots of old-fashioned words. Macdonald appeared in a variety of films, and was a frequent guest on late-night talk shows, where he became best known for his shaggy dog stories.Early in his career, Macdonald's first work on television included writing for comedies such like Roseanne as well as The Dennis Miller Show. Macdonald was first hired in 1993 to write and a cast part of Saturday Night Live (SNL). He lasted for five seasons with the series, including hosting the Weekend Update segment for three-and-a-half seasons. Macdonald was fired as host of SNL's Weekend Update in 1998, because he was accused of repeatedly ridiculing O. J. Simpson during the trial of his murder, which offended producer Don Ohlmeyer, of whom Simpson was an intimate friend.After being dismissed from SNL,
