Robert Stanley Dyrdek, born on June 28, 1974, is an American actor as well as a producer, reality TV host, and former professional skateboarder. His appearances on MTV's reality and variety shows Rob & Big and Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness are the most well-known of his. In addition to his television ventures, Dyrdek is a serial entrepreneurwho founded several businesses through his venture studio Dyrdek Machine which includes Street League Skateboarding and Superjacket Productions (now Thrill One Media).At the age of 11, Dyrdek earned a sponsorship to represent Surf Ohio, a local skate shop located in Dayton, Ohio. He began competing at age 12. Gordon and Smith Skateboard Company (G&S), a national brand, began sponsoring him around that time. Dyrdek at the age of 15 was the first participant in the National Skateboard Association North Central District competition. By 1995, Dyrdek had been competing in various events and performing in exhibitions throughout North America, Europe and Asia.
