 Rosa Arianna "Rose" McGowan (born September 5th, 1973) is an American actress. After her film debut as a part-time actress in the comedy Encino Man (1992), McGowan achieved wider recognition for her performance in the dark comedy The Doom Generation (1995) which earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Debut Performance. Her breakthrough came with the film horror Scream (1996) as well as then headlined the films Going All the Way (1997), Devil in the Flesh (1998) and Jawbreaker (1999).During the 2000s, McGowan became known to the public via her role as Paige Matthews in The WB supernatural drama series Charmed (2001-2006). McGowan was later a guest star in Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino's double-feature film Grindhouse (2007) which was for which she received nominations for the Saturn Award for Best Actress as well as the Scream Award for Best Scream Queen. In 2014, she starred in Chosen, an action-thriller television series. She released Planet 9, her first studio album in the year 2018 and a repackaging of the album was released in 2020.
