Alicia Amanda Vikander, /vI’kaend@r(swedish: (swedish called [a'li:sIa:vI'kan:derthe) was born on the 3rd of October 1988. Vikander has received numerous accolades including the Academy Award and Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for the Critics' Choice Award for a film. Vikander was born 3 October 1988 in Gothenburg. Vikander trained as ballet dancers at the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm. Her acting career began in short films and television series in Sweden. Her first recognition came for her performance on the drama series Andra Avenyn (2008)-2010. Pure (2010) was her first feature film. She won the Guldbagge Award as Best Actress.
