DL Hughley

 Darryl Lynn Hughley, /'hju-gli:/; born March 6, 1993, is an American actor and comedian. Hughley is best known for his role as host of BET's ComicView between 1992 and 1993. He also played the same role on the sitcom of ABC/UPN, The Hughleys. Hughleys was also one of The Original Kings of Comedy's "Big Four" comedians. Additionally, he has been the host of CNN's D. L. Hughley Breaks the News as well as an anchor for The Jay Leno Show on NBC, and a local radio host as well as an interviewer in New York City. D.L. Hughley was ranked 9th on Dancing With the Stars.Hughley was born in Portsmouth, VA, the son of Audrey and Charles Hughley, who was a Delta Air Lines maintenance worker. He is the fourth of four kids. He was in Portsmouth for just two months prior to the time the family relocated. Hughley grew up in South Central Los Angeles. Hughley was troubled in his teens as was a member of the Bloods street gang and was expelled at San Pedro High School. However, Hughley eventually got his GED and was able to get a job at the Los Angeles Times.
