Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa (/m@'moU@/; born August 1st, 1979) is an American actor. His first acting role was Jason Ioane in the syndicated action drama Baywatch: Hawaii (1999–2001). He later played the roles of Ronon Delx in the Syfy fantasy drama series Stargate Atlantis (2005–2009), Khal Drogo in the Discovery Channel historical drama series Frontier (2016), and Baba Voss (2019-2022) on the Apple TV+ science fiction series See (2022). Momoa was the main character on the two newest series.Since the year 2016, Momoa plays Arthur Curry / Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and first appeared in a brief appearance in the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and later in Justice League (2017) and its 2021 director's cut which starred in the title film of 2018 as well as its sequel 2023 as well as a cameo in the TV series Peacemaker (2022-present)..1
