Leslie Easterbrook, an American actress and producer is She was the Sgt./Lt./Capt. She played Sgt./Lt./Capt. Debbie Callahan on the Police Academy films, and Rhonda Lee in the television series Laverne & Shirley. Easterbrook said to author Paul Stenning, "The funny thing is, it's not me in any way. I've never been a tough person. While I'd played many various things, I've never played anyone who was intimidating or aggressive sexually. I was a big girl that I had never played the woman who got the guy. It was difficult to imagine that I could accomplish it. I was successful. I auditioned and I scared the producer and the director, and they then were seated in their chairs and I went 'Oh no, now I really blew it. I really scared them'. I was so scared I quit the audition. I was not permitted to read the script until I was offered the role. I found it outrageous and hilarious.
