Whitney Cummings

 Whitney Cummings (born September 4 in 1982) is an American stand-up comedian actor, actress, writer director, producer, investor, and podcaster.A born in Washington, DC, Cummings began her career in comedy in Los Angeles after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied with the intention of becoming a journalist. She started stand-up comedy in 2004, and became a regular presenter on the Chelsea Lately roundtable. The show was later developed, created and appeared on the NBC show Whitney which was a sitcom in which she portrayed her self as a semi-fictionalized version. The series ran for two seasons before being cancelled in 2013. Simultaneously, Cummings created the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls, which began in the year 2011 and concluded in 2017.Cummings made her debut standup special of an hour, Money Shot, in 2010 on Comedy Central. Cummings followed that with another standup special, I Love You (2014). Her third special, I'm Your Girlfriend, was released on HBO in 2016, and was later released to the world as an album streaming audio in 2021.
